Statement
Printmaking has always been important to me as a means by which ideas and images can be transformed and brought to life. It offers a unique vehicle for exploring how these ideas may be conveyed and is one of the few disciplines left in art and design able to occupy the realms of fine art, craft and industry simultaneously. The many different processes available to the printmaker open wide a door that can often lead to unexpected places revealing yet more possibilities and pathways.
Current Projects

Arts Council of Wales Creative Wales Award
The project centers on the urban environment of Newport using new technologies to create a range of artworks though printmaking. Since the Summer of 2011 I have worked closely with the Contemporary Textiles Course at Cardiff Metropolitan University. I have used vector line drawing to produce laser cut woodblocks and finished pieces in the form of assemblages made from card and found materials.
