I began to pursue my career as an artist in 1997 when I started a part time degree course in Coleg Menai, Bangor under the unrivalled tutorship of Peter Prendergast and Ed Davies. I transferred to a full time course in UWIC Cardiff two years later, and graduated in Fine Art in 2001. Whilst at Cardiff, I began to take a particular interest in printmaking I have continued as a printmaker over the years primarily because of my fascination with the marks produced by the processes and the possibilities through printmaking which never cease to surprise me. Since graduating I have been a full time artist/printmaker and have exhibited extensively throughout Wales, Ireland and beyond. I use a range of traditional printmaking processes such as etching on copper, colograph, lithography, woodcut, linocut and monoprint and I will often combine them.
